I think that it's odd that America is "the land of the free" yet we are having this battle over marriage when other countries have no problem with it. One thing that I am still a little fuzzy on is the other side of the argument. Why do people not approve of gay marriage? I understand your point of view and the reasons that we should have gay marriage, but there must be strong arguments against it if gay marriage is only allowed in one state in the United States.
